The Federal Ministry of Youth Development, in collaboration with SAMU Technology and the Recyclers Association of Nigeria (RAN) invites All Nigerian youths for its program, Circular Economy Youth Empowerment Initiative (CEYEI).

The Federal Ministry of Youth Development, in collaboration with SAMU Technology and the Recyclers Association of Nigeria, has founded the Circular Economy Youth Empowerment Initiative (CEYEI), a premier initiative designed to address unemployment, boost economic development, and promote environmental eco-friendliness or sustainability.

Communicating at the funded of the event in Abuja, the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, talk the programme goes past job creation, targeting to produce new Nigerians who are creative, entrepreneurial, and nation-building.

CEYEI will be executed or implemented nationwide, including all 36 states and over 774 local governments, with integration at its core, assuring equal access for youth across regions and locations.

Briefly About CEYEI

The Circular Economy Youth Empowerment Initiative for Climate Action (CEYEI) is a Nigerian Federal Government program designed to empower young people to turn the nations waste management challenges into hope or opportunities for job creation, wealth creation, and climate action. And also To train and equip young Nigerians with the skills to transform or convert various forms of waste (e waste, food, plastic, and agricultural by products) into valuable, eco friendly products and sustainable businesses.

The CEYEI also participants receive mentorship, access to green technologies, hands-on training, funding opportunities, and market access support.

And also It coordinate with Nigeria is goal to build a greener economy, achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and reduce unemployment and environmental pollution by promoting the principles of the circular economy (reusing resources, recycling materials, and reducing waste).

The Federal Ministry of Youth Development (FMYD) has released ten (10) training areas under the Circular Economy Youth Empowerment Initiative. The training areas are shown:

3. E-waste recycling.

4. Glass recycling.

5. Metal recycling.

6. Scrabs recycling.

7. Plastic recycling.

8. Textiles recycling.

9. Waste valorization to animals feeds and fertilizers.

10. Wind turbines.
