Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) Established: The program was announced in October 2025 by the NCDMB to meet the developing demand for skilled labor in the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
The program aims to train over 10,000 Nigerian graduates in high-demand skills like drilling engineering and sub-sea engineering to prepare them for new job hopes or opportunities. The training contained classroom instruction, practical workshops, and at least six months of on-the-job training with partner companies.

The NCDMB Oil and Gas Training provides the following benefits as shown below;
- Participants will also collect or receive a medical checks, monthly allowance, personal safeguarding equipment, and insurance coverage.
- The course will take for two to three years, comprising laboratory work, classroom learning, certification, and also at least six (6) months of on the training field or job in collaboration with leading service companies.

NCDMB Field Requirements
If you want to be among a qualified for the NCDMB Field Readiness Training, Candidates must fulfilling the following conditions as shown below:
- To be a legal member of Nigerians
- To be at least under 35 years old
- Make sure you have your OND, HND, or BSc qualifications in subjects such as Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Gas, Petroleum, Welding, and Metallurgy. Other qualified fields include Computer Science, Geophysics, Geology, and other science-related subjects.
